HEC Montréal is an internationally renowned business school, with over 13,000 students. Every year it trains nearly 8,000 executives and managers. It holds the world's three most prestigious accreditations in management education - AACSB International (United States), EQUIS (Europe) and AMBA (United Kingdom) - and is regularly listed in major international rankings by such publications as AméricaEconomía, Expansión, Forbes and The Economist.

Research and knowledge transfer are essential parts of the School's mission. HEC Montréal supports researchers by promoting synergy between the academic community and industry, through a number of means including 27 research chairs, 6 of them Canada Research Chairs; 31 research and knowledge transfer units; membership in 7 strategic research groups in Quebec; 2 spin-off companies (Baton Simulations and Imarklab) and the use of the eValorix.com platform.

With a faculty of 274, HEC Montréal offers programs in several languages and attracts students from 143 countries. Since its founding in 1907, the School has trained more than 82,000 students in all fields of management, at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
